I have spent the last 22 years helping people find solutions that result in lasting change.
With specialized training in the areas of anxiety disorders, and chemical abuse I actively address the core issues and focus on developing increased skill and confidence.
With extensive experience and training working with teens and families in crisis I focus on family relationships with specific attention to parenting skills and the adolescent challenges- both mood and behavior that have become problematic.
Combining Mindfullness and Cognitive Behavioral therapy in my approach, I focus on challenging negative thought patterns while assisting clients as they increase mindful awarness and acceptance.
It is my belief that our thoughts and inner dialog can trigger depression, anxiety while interfering with our self-awareness and unique potential. By challenging the negative thoughts and using mindfulness/meditative techniques I help my clients break free of the negative and limiting chatter while understanding and accepting who they are and what they are feeling while discovering their true potential.
